KZN Athletics, in partnership with Amanzimtoti AC, will play host to the 2012 edition of the KZN Cross-Country Championships. The event will be staged at the Hutchisonpark sportsfields in Amanzimtoti on Saturday the 18th of August. It is the same venue and course that will be used for the SA Cross-Country Championships scheduled for the 8th of September

The KZNA Cross-country commission welcomes all the athletes to the event and is looking forward to a successful event where the best talent in our province will compete against each other. Up for grabs is selection for the KZN team to participate at the SA Champs.

The LOC for the SA Champs will be using the KZN champs as a dry-run for the national event. Athletes and spectators are requested to give feedback in terms of the organisation of the event to make sure we have a hassle-free national champs in September
